Writing for HHG

Headless Hydra Games is, as previously stated, always looking for new (and old) talent. However, our main focus is on the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and on expanding the campaign setting, Mor Aldenn, City of Mages!

If you have an idea, don’t be afraid to drop it here or maybe in an email (see About HHG). However, I cannot guarantee that I will like it or even use it, but how will you know if you don’t try?

Submissions don’t need to follow any particular guidelines, but try (at least) to make it look professional and pleasing to the eye.

I really like what you are doing with Mor Aldenn and I can see tremendous potential in this setting. I see that you will be working on adeventures set in this town and I urge you to write a complete campaign going from 1-20 for 3rd edition. If you expand on this city and the world and have an adventure path that spans (at least) 20 levels, you could have a true gem. No one, not even pathfinder, is writing complete campaigns with all 20 levels and consumers are really looking for something like that. If you needed help, I’d be happy to lend my aid. I’ve been gaming for about 8 years now and I am currently getting my Ph.D. in Childhood Studies. One of my avenues of research is children/adolescent games.

Look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for the kind words. I wasn’t planning on writing a complete adventure path from 1-20, mostly because I’m just a small company with few means. Such an undertaking would take a lot of time, or a lot of money. I have neither, sadly. I have yet to earn any money on Mor Aldenn, which is basically a hobby project of mine, a labor of love, if you will.

Yes, I will produce adventures, but probably not a complete adventure path. The first adventure, however, will be for low level characters of 1-3! 🙂

I’d love to consider you for a project, though, so feel free to submit examples of your writing and game design skills.

I’ve bought the Barowdelve Map Pack. Is it possible to get:

Fallen Tower, Moons folly, House of Blades without:

    scale bar

      Hey Thierry,

Thanks for contacting me about this. Unfortunately, no, I dont have those maps without all the specific information. I just recently got the idea of making the Mor Aldenn maps more flexible by getting a “naked” map from the cartographer, like you see it in the Revised Mor Aldenn map pack. If I ever need another Mor Aldenn map (and that is not unlikely!) I will try to get a “naked” map from the cartographer. I can definitely see why such a map would provide new opportunities and be advantageous to the buyer.

Sorry I can’t help you out, but thank you for asking!

      – Axel
